I'm a postdoctoral researcher presently working in the X-ray group at
the University of Leicester.
I after getting my Ph.D. from Leicester I then worked for three years
as a research associate in the
X-ray Astronomy group
based in the Institute of
Astronomy (IoA) which is a department of the University of Cambridge.
My
research concentrates on observing the X-ray emission from Active
Galactic Nuclei (see my quasars
page) and
using this to probe the immediate environment of supermassive black
holes. When I'm not doing this I'm probably down the pub. Want more?
Have a look at my home page.
