1993-1997 Leicester University. PhD Hot white dwarfs in detached binaries from the ROSAT WFC all sky survey
Employment: Dec. 1996 - March 2000 UK ROSAT Support Scientist, XRA Astronomy Group, University of Leicester.
April 2000 - Sept. 2001 Postdoctoral research associate, XRA Astronomy Group, University of Leicester.
Sept. 2001 - present Temporary Lecturer, X-ray and Observational Astronomy Group, University of Leicester.
March 2004 - March 2009 PPARC Advanced Fellow
Research: Extra-solar planets: planetary companions to white dwarfs, the Eddington mission, white dwarfs in Sirius-type binaries, magnetic white dwarfs, structure and composition of white dwarf atmospheres.
